Procurement Excellence Manager - Global Procurement

In Demant Global Procurement we are 44 skilled and experienced colleagues working in Denmark, Poland, and US. We are looking for a person to continue and expand the Procurement journey within our company where you will be part of the Global Procurement team, located at the Danish HQ in Smørum.   

Take part in developing Global Procurement   

Joining us, you will have a dual role of promoting procurement excellence across Global Procurement and head our team of 2 Procurement Project Managers.   

In your role as excellence manager, you will be ensuring the global procurement continuous performance improvement through robust category management methodology, ensuring contract compliance, and fostering effective collaboration with senior stakeholders.   

You will support the optimization of procurement strategies and deliver value across the sourcing process and ensuring alignment with business goals.   

In your role as Manager for the Procurement Project Management team you will support the journey of professionalizing our deliverables towards our program and development organization while implementing methodology to ensure that our global supplier network is performing in our new product launch phase.    

You will collaborate with many stakeholders – both internally and externally – whom you will actively approach and engage with to enhance our procurement footprint. You will also support our business units internationally. Annually, you must therefore expect 15-20 days of travelling.   

Your primary tasks will be to:  

• Develop and implement template for category strategies and our sourcing process in Indirect Procurement  
• Ensure all supplier activities in our markets comply with company terms, policies and relevant regulations  
• Lead initiatives to improve procurement process, enhance governance and drive best practices across organizations in Demant.  
• Apply leadership to the procurement project management team and ensure a continuous high level of engagement  
• Implement best practices and processes into our cooperation with the R&Ddevelopment team

Do you enjoy engaging and sparring with stakeholders?  

You have a commercial university degree maybe combined with some years of experience within procurement. As a person, you hopefully enjoy applying a detail-oriented approach while also maintaining an overview of your stakeholder-landscape. Stakeholder management is essential in this position, and we are looking for a person who enjoys engaging and sparring with various stakeholders across the business.   

You want to develop your competencies within digital procurement, and contract negotiation and you possess an inherent urge to deliver savings and creating value.  

You are fluent in both spoken and written English language.
