Network Solution Specialist - Infrastructure & Operations

At Demant, we are looking for a new Network Solution Specialist to join our Infrastructure & Operations organization. In this role, you will help shape, modernize, and secure our global network landscape, working closely with colleagues across teams and regions.

You will join the Datacenter Solutions team within Infrastructure & Operations in Global IT.

Demant is a global organisation with more than 25,000 colleagues relying on our IT solutions every day. Global IT consists of more than 800 employees across Europe, the US, and Asia Pacific. The Datacenter Solutions team consists of 8 experienced colleagues and is part of a wider Infrastructure & Operations organisation of around 80 people, primarily based in Denmark and Poland.

Contribute to Global Network Solutions

You will work on a range of strategic initiatives and advanced operational tasks, contributing directly to the evolution of Demant’s global network landscape. Furthermore, you will work with network segmentation and security architecture, SD-WAN migration and broader network modernization, and the integration of acquired companies into the global network. It also includes shaping network roadmaps and long-term architectural direction, as well as driving network automation and standardization to enable a more programmatic, scalable, and efficient approach to operations.

You will collaborate closely with Datacenter and Core Infrastructure Operations in Poland, Infrastructure Solutions in Denmark, and other stakeholders across Infrastructure Management and ServiceDesk.

In this role, you will help shape not only what solutions are implemented, but how they are designed, documented, and operated — with a clear focus on quality, scalability, and sustainability.

Your Responsibilities

As a senior Network Solution Specialist, you will combine architectural thinking, technical leadership, and practical experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading network-related projects and shaping global network architecture and standard
• Designing secure, scalable solutions aligned with business and operational needs
• Driving technology improvements, automation, and standardisation across the network
• Owning complex technical issues from analysis through to resolution, including advanced troubleshooting
• Collaborating with IT Security and Operations to ensure secure, efficient, and supportable solutions
• Contributing to strategy, roadmaps, and key technical decisions while acting as a trusted advisor to colleagues

While you are not expected to do everything yourself, you are expected to set direction, raise the quality bar, and help move the organization forward through solid engineering and pragmatic leadership.

What You Bring

You bring several years of experience from working with IT infrastructure in a larger or international environment and may currently be working as a Network Specialist, Network Architect, Consultant, or Solution Architect.

You have solid experience with Cisco‑based networks and a good understanding of enterprise networking and security concepts.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience or interest in:

• Cisco LAN, WiFi, WAN, and security technologies,
  including Nexus Dashboard, Catalyst Center, Meraki, SD-WAN, Anyconnect, and ISE.
• Technologies such as Checkpoint firewalls, Citrix Netscaler, and Netskope ZTNA.
• Network automation tools.
• Certifications such as CCNP Enterprise or equivalent experience.
• You are comfortable working at the intersection of networking and security and enjoy collaborating with security specialists to design solutions that are both robust and secure.
