Manager, Global Media Excellence

Part of the Demant Group, Audika Group is one of the leading retailers in hearing care. As a global company with a strong local approach, we are more than 12,500 hearing care professionals working across more than 5,500 hearing care clinics in 26 countries.

In Audika we are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in people's lives through innovation, customer-centricity, and teamwork. Operating in an international and collaborative environment, we unite talented professionals from IT, Business Process, Sales and Marketing across diverse markets.

For this role, you will be based at the Demant headquarters, a half-an-hour S-train ride away from the Copenhagen City Centre.

For this position as Manager, Global Media Excellence, we are looking for an experienced media professional to help develop and improve how we plan, govern, measure and optimise media across our markets.

Could it be you? A newly created position

You will be part of a growing function with a broad scope and a high level of ownership. Over the past two years, the Global Media Excellence function has been built from the ground up, creating a strong foundation of frameworks, governance and ways of working across 16 markets.

While much is now in place, there is still significant opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the function. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, improving and turning ideas into action.

Media Excellence is a key strategic initiative within Global Marketing, with strong support from leadership. This creates an opportunity to join the journey at a time when there is significant momentum and the potential to make a real impact.

You will work closely with local marketing teams, local media agencies, Marketing Excellence Cluster Leads, our global media agency and other global stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of media investments across the organisation.

More specifically, your focus areas are to:

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of global media frameworks, tools, templates and playbooks.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Global Media Excellence operating model across markets.
  • Support the development and implementation of a global media audit and governance framework across markets to boost media effectiveness and enable continuous improvement.
  • Monitor market maturity and share learnings and best practices to strengthen media planning and effectiveness across markets.
  • Drive MMM initiatives across markets in close collaboration with local marketing teams and our global media agency.
  • Support markets in applying media measurement frameworks, KPIs and MMM insights in planning, optimisation and reporting.
  • Support markets in developing and improving full-funnel media strategies and plans that strengthen brand, drive business performance and support customer acquisition.
  • Review and analyse local media strategies, plans and performance, and provide practical recommendations and constructive challenge.
  • Collaborate closely with our global media agency, local media agencies and marketing teams, Marketing Excellence Cluster Leads and global stakeholders across marketing, brand and analytics.

The Global Media Excellence team

You will report to Vanessa Peres da Costa, Head of Global Media Excellence. Together, you will make up the Global Media Excellence function, which is part of the Marketing Excellence & Analytics team within Global Marketing.

The Marketing Excellence & Analytics team consists of 14 colleagues, supporting markets in optimising marketing efficiency and effectiveness.

More broadly, you will be part of a Global Marketing organisation of more than 50 colleagues working across a wide range of marketing disciplines.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone with solid experience in media strategy, planning, measurement or media effectiveness. You probably come from a media agency, consultancy or an international marketing organisation and are motivated by working across markets and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive change in a complex matrix organisation. You are proactive by nature, enjoy building and shaping new initiatives, and are able to create engagement and commitment around new ways of working across cultures and stakeholder groups.

We expect you to:

  • Have around 5 years of experience within media strategy, media planning, media effectiveness or media consulting, preferably in a multi-market or international environment.
  • Have a solid understanding of full-funnel media planning and optimisation.
  • Have experience working with both digital and offline media channels.
  • Have experience with media measurement, marketing effectiveness, MMM, attribution and performance analysis.
  • Be able to translate data and insights into clear recommendations and communicate effectively with stakeholders across markets.
  • Have experience working with media agencies and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Be comfortable working in an international or multi-market environment.
