Global HR Business Partner for Group Services, Global HR

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to play a central role in the transformation of Demant Group Services and help shape the future of HR partnering across Demant. Part of Group Services are IT, Finance, HR and our Corporate Functions.  

In this role you will partner with senior leaders to translate the Group Services strategy into the organization, capabilities, leadership and workforce needed to deliver it. You will be instrumental in driving organizational effectiveness, supporting major transformation initiatives and helping leaders create simpler, more scalable and effective organizations. In this role you will also have 3 HR Business Partners reporting to you.

You will join Demant Group Services as a strategic partner to CFO René Schneider and become part of the Group Services Leadership Team.

Group Services is on a significant transformation journey. We are strengthening technology adoption, driving cost effectiveness, simplifying the employee experience, enabling faster integration of acquisitions and moving towards more standardized and scalable operating models across our functional areas.

You will work closely with functional leaders to make organizational choices that will enable Group Services to deliver its strategy — while also helping strengthen HR partners with leaders across Demant.

You will bring an organizational perspective to strategic decisions and help senior leaders continuously improve how their organizations operate.

A key part of your role will be challenging complexity and asking the fundamental questions: Are we organized in the right way? Do we have the capabilities we need? Is accountability clear? Are decisions being made at the right level? And are we building organizations that are simple, scalable and fit for the future?

You will work across the boundaries of HR and the business, connecting strategy, organization, leadership, talent and workforce priorities. You will also help strengthen the HR Business Partner community across Demant by creating greater alignment, sharing practices and building collective capability.

In this role, you will:

• Enable transformation – Partner with leaders on major technology, efficiency and operating-model changes, helping translate transformation ambitions into organizational change and ensuring sustainable implementation and value realization.
• Drive organizational effectiveness – Challenge complexity, duplication, unclear accountability and unnecessary organizational layers, helping leaders create simpler, more scalable and effective organizations.
• Build future capabilities – Lead strategic workforce and talent discussions to identify the leadership, skills and critical capabilities required to deliver the Group Services strategy.
• Strengthen leadership effectiveness – Advise and challenge senior leaders on organization, leadership-team effectiveness, engagement, decision-making and collaboration.
• Strengthen HR Business Partnering across Demant – Help establish a more aligned approach to the HR Partner role across Demant entities, creating greater clarity and consistency while allowing for relevant business and local differences.
• Build HR partnering capability – Facilitate alignment, share practices and strengthen the collective capability of the HR Business Partner community across Demant.
• Turn people data into action – Drive accurate reporting on people data to enable follow-through on Group Services people targets and identify relevant development initiatives.

What You Bring

You are an experienced HR Business Partner with strong business understanding and a genuine curiosity about how organizations work.

You bring:

• Senior-level partnering experience in an international organization, with the ability to influence and align across functions, geographies and organizational boundaries.
• Expertise in organizational design and effectiveness, combined with experience in transformation, change and strategic workforce planning.
• Experience working with development of HR Business Partner capabilities across a global  organization.
• Analytical and commercial thinking, with the ability to turn strategy and data into practical organizational choices and actions.
• The credibility and courage to challenge senior leaders and an interest in using technology to improve organizational performance.

We expect 8–10+ years of experience in HR transformation, management consulting or large-scale organizational change, including successful delivery of global or multi-country transformation programmes and strong expertise in organizational and operating-model design.

You are curious, collaborative and confident in challenging established ways of working. You combine strategic thinking with practical execution, bring structure to complexity and build trust with senior stakeholders.

Above all, you are motivated by moving HR partnering from supporting the organization to shaping the organization.
