Change Manager for our ERP Transformation Program

At Demant, we don’t just develop and produce high-quality hearing aids - we also operate a large Hearing Care division, where our care teams, including audiologists, directly help people with hearing loss find the right hearing aids to improve their quality of life.

To support our growth agenda, we are streamlining our entire value chain by replacing both global and local solutions. Over the next 6-8 years, we will replace more than 100 applications, implementing new CRM, ERP, and supporting audiology solutions in 20+ markets.

Key Responsibilities

As a Change Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing change management activities.

Your responsibilities could include:

 

  • Defining and structuring change management activities for Build, Onboarding, and Hypercare phases.
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative change management analysis (e.g., Change Readiness, Change Impact).
  • Developing an understanding of the technical solution to assess organizational impact (e.g., within “Sales & Service”).
  • Structuring change initiatives using the ADKAR framework.
  • Designing and owning the onboarding playbook for market rollouts.
  • Establishing and managing change governance across markets and at HQ.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and program communications throughout the organization.
  • Executing planned communication activities (newsletters, articles, town halls, videos, panel talks etc.).
  • Creating a visual identity for the program (e.g., mail signature, branding materials).
  • Managing communication with markets and senior stakeholders (local & global).
  • Ensuring consistent and well-planned communication, prioritizing clarity and engagement.
  • Design training formats and learning paths for end-users in alignment with our business colleagues.
  • Defining a structured learning approach aligned with change governance.
  • Ensuring functional consultants produce high-quality “train the trainer” materials.
  • Developing a training plan (strategy and approach, not the materials themselves).

Location and Work Environment

This role is based at our headquarters in Smørum, just outside Copenhagen, with the flexibility to work from home a couple of days per week. You can expect to travel approximately 15-20 days per year, often alongside colleagues.

What Achievement Looks Like in this role

This transformation will run for the next 8 years. In the early stages, our focus will be on building the foundation for change (Awareness and Desire). As we board our first markets, the focus will shift to (Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement).

You will be successful in this role if you:

  1. Take responsibility for the change management activities within the program and become the go-to person for Change Management.
  2. Ensure that our priorities in the OCM track align with the program timeline and objectives.
  3. Effectively engage and manage a complex landscape of stakeholders, both at HQ and in the markets.

Your Future Team

You will join a diverse team of 13 people across five countries, supported by external consultants in Denmark, whom we consider part of our team. We belong to the Hearing Care IT division and cover areas including ERP, Change & Communications, and Release and Test Management.

 

Some of us have been at Demant for a long time, while others are new to the team, bringing new perspectives. We build an effective team spirit, collaboration, and excitement for the transformation ahead.

 

Your Manager, Torben Borre Frederiksen has been with Demant for a year but has already made a significant impact in the department and in preparing for the program. He is an approachable and transparent leader who values open discussions and team collaboration. You will find Torben to be a supportive and engaging manager who prioritizes time to help his team succeed.

What We Expect from You

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Change Management, implementing and executing change initiatives in an international company.
  • Experience with ERP-implementations.
  • A master’s degree in business administration, Communications, Strategy, Change Management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing global change initiatives, particularly in a decentralized setup.
  • A structured approach to Change Management (knowledge of ADKAR).
  • Effective communication skills, enabling you to help others commit to their change journey.
