In Demant we develop and produce cutting-edge, high-quality hearing aids. In our growing retail division Hearing Care, we provide people with hearing loss the right hearing aids to improve their quality of life. 

  

To deliver on our growth agenda, we are streamlining our entire value chain, replacing both global and local solutions. More than 100 applications will be replaced during the next 6-8 years, and we will be implementing new CRM, ERP and supporting audiology solutions in +20 markets.

Your new job is waiting for you 

  

As part of our newly established program, you will be building the new global Dynamics 365 CE solution as part of the scrum teams. 

  

The focus this year is to build a global template, and hereafter to onboard our staff in markets, clinics and Backoffice to the new platform, affecting +10.000 colleagues. 

  • You will take an outset in understanding customer and user needs, while having broad insights into the D365 CE standard and limitations, as we need to transform business needs to global scalable solutions delivering strong business impact. 
  • You will work together with colleagues from global and local business, having a detailed focus on end2end user journey’s, usability, accessibility, employee branding etc. 
  • In case needs are not possible to deliver within standard D356, you will need to apply a larger scope of UX/UI methodologies, when defining and designing off standard flows. 
  • You will define and govern the standardized digital design components to unify the navigation and user experiences across markets. 

 

Furthermore, you will be facilitating workshops, making wireframes, clickable prototypes and final designs prior to development, as well as conducting user feedback loops to validate the solution. 

Your role will engage with the whole organization from day one. Together with our thorough on-boarding plan we will ensure you land smoothly in the job and get up to speed on our way of running our business. 

  

The job is onsite in Smørum, just outside Copenhagen, with possibility to work from home a couple of times per week. 

 

You must expect to travel around 20 days per year. Travel will most often be together with colleagues. For us work is not “just work”, we like to explore and do social activities together while traveling. 

  

This transition will extend over several years, indicating that your professional journey and opportunities will continue to progress. We encourage you to develop your career. If you wish, you can enhance your skills, pursue more specialized paths, or perhaps take on a new role. Of course, it all depends on timing as well. But as you may sense, we would like to keep you in Demant for as long as possible. 

  

  

Part of Team Customer Engagement 

  

You will be part of the Global Customer Engagement (CE) team belonging to Hearing Care IT. We are a diverse team of Business Analysts, Application Specialist, Developer, Solutions Architects, Scrum Masters/Project Managers. The Usability Expert is a new role in the team. We see great value in building UX/UI capabilities in our organization, as we value customer centricity, enabled by great UX. 

  

Our team place a high importance on team spirit and collaboration, and we are committed to supporting the growth strategy of our Hearing Care division. 

Besides your core team, you will be working collaboratively alongside a wide range of international team members and other colleagues in the program. Together we will define, design, develop and deliver the new Dynamics 365 global solution. 

  

Dina Bjørn Andersen, Head of Customer Relations, will be your manager. Dina is rather new to Demant; however, she has solid experience in managing global digital transformations and scaled implementations. Dina brings a wealth of experience in managing global digital transformation initiatives, demonstrating integrity and a collaborative spirit. 

  

  

Our expectations 

  • You have applied your usability knowledge in relation to Dynamics 365 CE several times and are motivated by defining usability for a global solution where efficient workflows, applications, insights and great UX supports employee satisfaction and enables better customer experience. 
  • You know the importance of ensuring a solution that is fit for scalability and efficient operations, by applying a standardization across markets. 
  • Customer centricity is a core value, and you are considered a usability expert. You know how efficient workflows and simple design can reduce the users’ physical and mental load. You have implemented accessibility standards for inclusiveness. 
  • You have your ‘UX/UI toolbox’ in order. You apply design thinking and service design as a holistic user centric approach. You are used to facilitating workshops, you create wireframes, prototypes and UI designs. You have experience with design standards and systems. Further you know how to conduct research, user tests and integrate user feedback loops to your work. 
  • You are keen to widen your understanding of out-of-the-box features and UI customization possibilities in D365 CE, and how to improve user workflows by optimizing navigation, forms, views, dashboards etc. You might have knowledge about how to leverage low-code tools (Power apps and AI) to enhance usability, automation and personalization. 
  • You effectively communicate with both IT and business colleagues, serving as a bridge between the two. Others recognize that you present well-organized arguments and provide recommendations that reassure stakeholders. 
  • We utilize a Scaled Lean-Agile Framework and carry out our tasks in Iterations using Azure DevOps to prioritize and oversee our work items. We expect that you have experience working agile. 
  • Due to our international presence and melting pot of nationalities, you are used working in English
