Finish / Final Technician

Job Summary

To comply with the Company’s high standards of production excellence while finishing production of integrated electronics custom products. Follows standard work instruc-tions and operating procedures to properly grind, sand, lacquer, and apply requested options to already assembled 3D printed custom shells.

Responsibilities

Finish Final

Responsible for the final production process of integrated electronics products.

· Cutting to remove, and grinding of remaining faceplate edges

· Sanding of shells as required

· Manual lacquering

· Installation of requested options (pull string, clothing loop, finger notch, etc..)

· Conduct listening test after all steps to ensure proper performance

· Final acoustic testing of product prior to QC

 

Common Technician Duties:

· Meet and follow all company and departmental standards, policies and proce-dures regarding turnaround time, rush orders, quality, and customer service.

· Assist other technicians as required to accommodate for changes in volume, workflow and/or staffing levels.

· Provide guidance and training to other technicians.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and productive working environment.

· Prepare and maintain records and/or reports.

· Adhere to all human resources policies and procedures.

· Conduct basic equipment maintenance as necessary.

 

* In addition, this position will perform other production duties as required by the Director – Operations.

Related Experience / Qualifications

· Experience in manufacturing environment, preferably small parts

· Familiar with small grinding and sanding hand tools

· Strong attention to detail

· Dependability to work assigned shifts. Overtime occasionally worked to meet the needs of fluctuating work intake.

Supervision Received

Primary reporting relationship is to the Manager - Custom Production. Assignments are performed under general supervision, normally receiving instructions on routine work and new assignments.

Protective equipment may be required based on the area of work or specific task.

Risk factors within the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Compressed air

· Chemical contact

· Airborne dust/particles

· Mechanical injury (drilling, sanding, grinding, cutting)

· Hot surfaces
