Project Manager, Manufacturing Readiness - Demant, Hearing Aid

Demant’s Ballerup site serves as the global competence center for microelectronics and is one of two production facilities manufacturing amplifiers for Demant’s hearing aids.
We are looking for a Project Manager with a solid technical foundation, a practical approach, and effective stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate works effectively in a demanding production environment and is comfortable spending time on the production floor to help carry out projects and support implementation
The Role
You will join a team of 9 experienced professionals, primarily Project Managers, each focused on different aspects of introducing new products into volume production. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across the local organization and partner with key stakeholders throughout Demant to support product launches and operational excellence. Your work will help shape Demant’s hearing aids used by people around the world.
Key responsibilities
As Project Manager you will oversee your own portfolio of projects, where the main objectives are:
- Securing production related inputs to the design in early and close cooperation with the R/D projects.
- Maturing the local manufacturing setup by building lab series and at the same time delivering parts into the design and verification flow of the new product.
- Creating the Device Mater Record for the product and secure compliance according to local and global development processes and move the project through defined reviews and milestones.
- Responsible for product release, mass production readiness and secure design transfer.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical discipline and possesses a unique combination of technical insight and effective coordination skills.
1-3 years’ experience in project management within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, but graduates that wish to work with technical project management and holding the right profile can also be considered.

- With a solution-oriented and practical mindset, you are comfortable navigating both technical and organizational challenges while maintaining focus on project objectives.

As a member of a delivery-focused organization working closely with R&D, you understand the importance of effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration in reaching the intended results.
No or only very limited travel activity is expected.
