At Oticon Medical, we develop, produce and market bone-anchored hearing systems. At our site ITSA Medical in Vallauris (Sophia Antipolis), in the south of France, we specialize in the production of active implantable class III implants and soon also worldwide distribution of the company’s full product portfolio.

As our operations and financial flows continue to grow, we are currently seeking a Finance Manager to act as the sole internal finance representative for the French subsidiary.

Reporting directly to the Global CFO and working closely with the General Manager France, you will ensure strong financial oversight, reliable reporting, and operational control, while serving as a trusted business partner to local and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Governance

  • Oversee all ITSA Medical finance operations, including month-end close, reporting, general ledger, cash management, AR, AP, and credit management.
  • Contribute to a unified reporting framework supporting both ITSA Medical requirements and global consolidation.
  • Ensure a strong internal control environment and full compliance with corporate policies, audit standards, and local regulations.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

  • Lead the annual budgeting process for ITSA Medical and collaborate with global finance on long-term planning.
  • Drive rolling forecasts, scenario analysis, and variance reporting to inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with commercial, operations, and leadership teams to align financial planning with business goals.

Treasury & Cash Management

  • Manage local banking relationships and daily cash activities, including liquidity planning, forecasting, and intercompany settlements.
  • Establish and streamline treasury processes covering approvals, fund transfers, manufacturing and inventory costs, and banking operations.
  • Provide clear visibility on cash risk, working capital trends, and capital requirements.

Operational Finance & Process Improvement

  • Standardize and optimize ITSA Medical financial processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with global finance, IT, and business teams on system implementations and platform transitions.
  • Lead automation initiatives and implement KPIs across key finance cycles.
  • Oversee credit card programs, travel and expense processes, insurance coordination, inventory forecasting and reconciliation.
  • Support consolidation of the annual budget cycle for Oticon Medical Operations.

Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration

  • Act as the main finance partner to French commercial teams.
  • Work closely with supply chain, customer service, and commercial leaders to improve billing, collections, inventory visibility, and revenue recognition.
  • Coordinate with global FP&A, Controlling, and Accounting teams to ensure alignment and consistency across markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance
  • Experience in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and internal controls.
  • Experience working with outsourced accounting providers.
  • Highly autonomous, hands-on, and structured.
  • Comfortable working as a standalone finance leader.
  • Strong analytical skills and business awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior leadership.
  • Fluent in English and French.
