Are you passionate about improving lives through medical devices? Do you have experience in driving product development projects within the medtech segment? Join us as Senior Project Manager in our Project Management Office at Oticon Medical in Gothenburg.

At Oticon Medical, we develop and market bone-anchored hearing systems - including implants, sound processors, software, and accessories. The Project Management Office (PMO) responsibilities are to drive, support and coordinate cross-functional projects to make sure they are delivered on time and to the defined quality according to Oticon Medical business goals. In addition, the PMO is responsible for Project Portfolio Management and are owners of the Product Development process.

Reporting to the Senior Director PMO, you will drive cross-functional product development and strategic projects, as well as being an important asset in bringing our product assortment and company into a sustainable future.

Your Role

As Senior Project Manager you will:

Manage and lead product development and strategic projects according to the quality management system, including medical device segment regulations

Be responsible for timing, content, and quality of the project

Secure project definition and activation

Review and approve project documentation

Be end-to-end responsible for delivering products to the market according to the product roadmap and project pipeline

Manage and follow-up on project budget and product cost/margin

Follow up and report project status to steering committee and stakeholders

Leading gate reviews ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects

Follow relevant processes and standards

Ensure full launch readiness of products in product development projects.

Your Profile

Engineering degree with 10+ years’ experience in managing larger projects both in product development and other strategic areas.

5+ years’ experience from medical devices and/or life science.

Strong technical understanding of products and production environments.

Excellent relationship-building skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Pragmatic, structured, and efficiency-driven mindset.

Willingness to travel (up to 30 days/year) within Sweden, Denmark, Poland, and France.
