Operations Project Manager – Oticon Medical, Gothenburg

 

Are you passionate about improving lives through medical devices? Do you have experience in production and project management? Join us as Operations Project Manager at Oticon Medical in Gothenburg.

At Oticon Medical, we develop and market bone-anchored hearing systems - including implants, sound processors, software, and accessories. Our Operations team oversees purchasing, production, and logistics in collaboration with external partners.

 

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will drive operational projects and improvements for in-market and new products. You will ensure timely, high-quality manufacturing and act as the link between R&D and external production facilities.

 

Your Role

 

As Operations Project Manager you will:
 

  • Lead operations-related activities in product development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality manufacturing.
  • Act as the key link between R&D and external production facilities, ensuring smooth transitions from project phase to serial production.
  • Drive operational projects, supply chain improvements, and in-market product changes.
  • Oversee supplier setup, production flow, and manufacturing qualification processes.
  • Ensure distribution system readiness and lead launch planning efforts.

     

Your Profile

 

  • Engineering degree with 5+ years’ experience in project management, manufacturing, or supply chain (preferably in medical devices).
  • Strong technical understanding of products and production environments.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Pragmatic, structured, and efficiency-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 15 days/year) within Sweden, Denmark, Poland, and France.
