Responsibilities:

  • Balances users’ needs with business objectives, requirements, usage patterns, technical feasibility and agreed scope. 
  • Ensures common understanding of users’ needs in Agile Teams (in collaboration with Product Owner)  
  • Provides design deliverables on an incremental basis (user flows, mock-ups, clickable prototypes, final UI designs) in collaboration with the Agile Team 
  • Follows design system and advocates for consistency 
  • Follows agreed best practices for design documentation  
  • Collaborates with UX Researcher in preparing, conducting, and analyzing research in order to identify and solve potential problems and risks related to the context of use 
  • Collaborates with UX Writer when designing the features to ensure clear communication and that writing guidelines are followed 
  • Regularly presents designs to Agile Team, stakeholders and other designers to gather feedback 
  • Collaborates with Agile Team, PMs and LUXCE members on feature cards, new ideas and ​feature/product or design system improvements 
  • Is member of one Agile Team, but can also give and receive support from other Product Designers in the value stream where the expertise is needed 
  • Actively takes part in team/SAFe events 
  • Actively takes part in Competence group to discuss current issues and share knowledge on best practices 
  • Gives and receives feedback to continually raise the bar set for quality 
  • Builds lasting, good relations with others based on respect, trust and openness 
  • Performs work conscientiously and carefully, in accordance with the requirements of the quality policy 
  • Promotes product design excellence within the organization 
  • Continues to build knowledge on product design and the organization  
  • Receives a moderate level of guidance  
  • Keeps up with the latest trends in product design 
  • Attempts to solve problems under own initiative in a transparent way

 

Competencies:

  • Education: preferably higher education in design, social or human sciences, human computer interaction or related  
  • Experience: minimum 2 y. work experience on Design/UX position, has deep understanding of user centered design field  
  • Skills: strong communication skills, an outstanding ability to work with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Axure or similar)  
  • Languages: English - fluent
