Join our App ART in Warsaw as a Release Train Engineer for a unique opportunity to enhance your leadership skills. Collaborate with a skilled team, engage with stakeholders, and play a key role in coaching, facilitating, and optimizing the Agile Release Train's performance. Work closely with the ART leadership team, Scaled Agile Program Consultants, and line managers to empower individuals within the SAFe framework. 
This role also presents an exciting chance to foster collaboration across diverse locations in Denmark and Poland.
 

Over the past 3½ years, Demant has successfully implemented SAFe in our software solutions, device software, and hardware. 
Currently we have launched 10 Agile Release Trains and more will be joining during 2025. We adhere to the practices defined by Scaled Agile, with a commitment to staying current with the latest edition of the SAFe agile framework – presently SAFe 6.0.
The Portfolio layer is also included in our SAFe implementation and is a key element in ensuring overall alignment and prioritization of activities in the ARTs.
 

The App ARTs main focus is to deliver:

• A world class App for the hearing instrument users – to enable them to control their hearing instruments and overall hearing solution. The App is available for all our main brands on both iOS and Android.
• An App with high usability and quality.
• An app that seamlessly enables the user to control Connectivity devices and integrated Cloud services – also delivered by Demant. Collaboration across ARTs and integration on System level is therefore an essential focus area for the ART.  

The Team awaiting you:
The App ART currently consists of approximately 50-60 members who are organized into 6 agile teams. 
All members possess comprehensive knowledge within the business domain and do have long-term experience in what it takes to deliver innovative products of high quality to our users.

What tasks are waiting for you?

• You will be leading and coaching the ART and its members in close collaboration with the ART Leadership team.
• Building relations and creating an environment of collaboration, trust and mutual respect – across the organization and the ART.
• Collaborate with other ARTs and stakeholders to align priorities and solve impediments.
• Optimize relevant processes within the ART and across the organization.
• Ensure that system thinking is applied.
• Support that the ART delivers and improves according to our strategic goals.
• Plan and facilitate the ART PI Planning and other SAFe events during the PI Execution.
• Foster continuous learning and relentless improvement – in close collaboration with the people in the ART and the line organization. 

It would be great if you have:

• 3-5 recent years of experience as RTE, Senior Scrum Master or similar within a larger SAFe setup.
• You possess excellent leadership, communication and people skills.
• Proficiency in and commitment to the agile mindset and principles from SAFe.
• Excellent English skills enabling everyday verbal and written communication.
• Ideally you hold a SAFe certification as RTE.
