Test and Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled Test & Software Developer to join our team and help to make a lifechanging difference to people living with hearing loss.
This hybrid role combines software development and testing, with a strong focus on building quality into the product from the very beginning, within a collaborative  environment where quality is a shared responsibility.
The role involves working with automated tests at different levels (unit, integration, system), with a strong emphasis on testability and maintainable test solutions, as well as close collaboration between teams in Poland and Denmark.

What will you do?
•    Develop Windows desktop applications using WPF and .NET, contributing to solutions used in the hearing healthcare domain.
•    Collaborate with the Agile team to design, implement, and test software features aligned with user stories and technical requirements.
•    Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on reliability and performance.
•    Contribute to building and maintaining automated tests, test frameworks, and quality strategies.
•    Support test automation at different levels (unit, integration, system) and continuously improve test coverage.
•    Participate in code reviews, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to best engineering practices.
•    Work closely with Software Developers, Test Developers, Product Owner, and Scrum Master to ensure high quality delivery.
•    Identify risks early, support exploratory testing, and help improve overall testability of the system.
•    Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support fast, reliable software releases.
•    Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of team practices.
•    Share knowledge and help strengthen a quality driven mindset within and across teams.

 

What we are looking for?
•    Proven experience as a Software Developer, Test Developer, or in a hybrid development/testing role. 
•    Strong programming skills in C# and .NET.
•    Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
•    Solid understanding of software testing principles and quality practices. 
•    Experience working in Agile (SCRUM) teams. 
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
•    Fluent English and comfort working in international, cross location teams. 
•    Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.

 

Nice to have:
•    experience with Test Driven Development or similar qualityfocused practices);
•    experience with cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS); 
•    experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
