Software Engineer

Country:  PL
City:  Szczecin

Join a newly formed, modern team inside our Agile Release Train - a small squad working next to five established engineering teams, but set up differently. Instead of passing work down a chain (analyst → designer → developer → tester → devops), the team owns each feature end-to-end and everyone works on it at the same time. Design decisions are tested as they're made, and quality is built in as the code is written.

The result is a much shorter path from problem to finished, releasable product.

This role is for someone who wants full ownership, solves problems from the ground up, and is excited to use AI and automation to cut out steps - not just speed them up. You'll work on regulated medical device software that changes the lives of people living with hearing loss.

What we offer:

  • full-time position (permanent contract);
  • a hybrid work model with flexible working hours;
  • opportunity to join a newly established, modern engineering team and help shape the way we work from the very beginning;
  • Scandinavian culture based on trust, openness, equality, autonomy and work-life balance;
  • attractive social benefits package (private medical care, life insurance, sports card, discount program and more).

What awaits you?

  • Own your work end-to-end - analysis, design, build, test, automation, and documentation moving together, with no handoffs, until it's ready to release.
  • Use AI and automation as a core part of how you work: drafting, checking, and speeding up work that specialists used to do separately.
  • Make technical and design decisions together with your team, with tight feedback loops replacing handoffs.
  • Build the UI from a shared design system and turn business needs into technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain automated tests at all levels - quality is something you build in, not inspect later.
  • Contribute to CI/CD and fast, reliable releases - moving quickly while keeping full traceability, with every requirement linked to its code and test, as regulated software demands.
  • Work in close partnership with a Product Owner (the why and what) and Team Coach (your growth and flow), while the team owns planning and delivery.
  • Share openly what you learn.

What you need to have?

  • High autonomy and self-direction - you don't wait to be told what's next.
  • Drive to take full end-to-end ownership of a feature, not hand off pieces of it.
  • Discipline to hold a strict WIP=1 focus - no starting new work because something's stuck or slow.
  • Strong collaboration in a small, collocated team, and comfort with international, cross-site work.

Skills you'll keep building:

  • software engineering fundamentals; programming skills in C#/.NET (Blazor a plus);
  • AI-assisted development - prompting, agentic workflows, and critically checking AI output;
  • test automation and CI/CD, with the traceability regulated medical device software requires;
  • requirements analysis and turning user/business needs into technical solutions;
  • flow efficiency experience (Scrum/SAFe).

We're looking for someone who can become a full SWE and has the drive to get there. The hard skills above follow from that drive rather than gate entry to the role - a strong SWE keeps building this range over time, and the appetite to do so matters more than having all of it on day one.

Nice to have:

  • UX implementation experience and familiarity with design systems (e.g. Figma);
  • Domain experience in healthcare, medical device, or other regulated software;
  • TDD, BDD, or similar quality-first practices;
