Senior Manager, Process Development
New Product Introduction (NPI) Department is an area which connects R&D and Mass Production, ensuring that both the product is ready for mass production and the mass production is ready for the product.
The Process Development department, consisting of three teams: Process Engineering, Mechanical Design Egineering and Proto-production, is responsible for development and implementation of production equipment and processes.

What kind of tasks will you be responsible for?
- Heading and coordination of team consisting of around 30 specialists, via 3 leaders.
- Motivation, support and relation development.
- Conducting 1:1s with directly reporting leaders, organizing and moderating team meetings (on operational, tactical and strategic levels).
- First point of contact in terms of new inquiries (concepts), with tight collaboration with R&D Hardware (design for assembly and manufacturing) as well as mass production-oriented areas (automation, scaling-up, production flow etc.).
- Assurance of proto and lab-series deliveries as well as deployment in mass production (with hyper-care period), focusing on tools, machines, prototypes, tests, development and adaptation of new production technologies.
- Monitoring of team workload and continuous development towards business needs.
- Building and developing business relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., toolshops, CAD freelancers etc.).
- Assurance of up and running proto-production and mechanical workshop area.
- Creation and monitoring of department budget, business cases, investments.
It will be perfect if you:
- have an experience on similar position (Team Manager, Line Manager, Mechanical and/or Process Development Manager). Ideally in NPI/close to R&D and/or Production Engineering;
- have leadership and communication skills that help you manage the team and maintain peer-to-peer communication;
- hold B.Sc./M.Sc. (Automatics and Robotics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar);
- are familiar with process engineering discipline (e.g., process flow, PFMEA, manuals creation and operators’ trainings, design and conducting of tests);
- are familiar with production equipment designing;
- understand mass production needs (ergonomics, performance, balanced flow etc.) and on the other hand you can identify production-friendly changes in product design/architecture;
- are fluent in English (daily communication);
- understand matrix organization and project management principles;
- are flexible, responsive, result- and detail-oriented.
