As our new Regulatory Affairs specialist your main task will be to ensure that product registrations are running smoothly and are properly maintained. You will also play an active role in guiding our many brands in relation to how they must deal with regulatory requirements and constant changes in a complex regulatory landscape.

What tasks are waiting for you?

 

  • Maintaining technical documentation for electronic and electrical devices 
  • monitoring global regulatory changes, assessing their impact and communicate regulatory changes to the organization;
  • responsible for new products certification
  • responsible for existing products renewal process
  • collecting required documents and preparing regulatory documentation packages     
  • cooperating with external stakeholders in relation to certification
  • developing and maintaining processes and procedures
  • work in cross-functional projects 
  • Supporting maintenance of the quality management system with applicable industry standards and regulations as necessary
  • ensuring new standards and recertification are handled and new standards implemented in our knowledge base
  • Further, you can look forward to being the primary interface to external approval authorities as well as internal Sales and Product Management teams.

 

It would be great if you:

 

  • have relevant degree at BSc or MSc level in electronic, engineering, chemistry, law or similar but more importantly, you are a skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist 
  • experience in handling certification and renewal processes, monitoring regulations and its interpretation 
  • knowledge of legislations and regulation worldwide including environmental regulations
  • Experience as project participant with cross-functional projects / project-minded person 
  • Experience in Engineering Change Order process
  • are pragmatic, flexible, and good at adapting yourself to new situations and still characterized by a structured, analytical, and disciplined work approach. As you will collaborate with many different nationalities and cultures, it is important that you are able to communicate clearly and have a cultural understanding; 
  • have experience in working with the communication devices business or any other well-regulated areas for at least a year will be an advantage;
  • as a person, you are an outgoing, self-managed and curious team player, who can create and maintain good relations with stakeholders; 
  • have worked with regulatory legislation outside Europe;
  • have experience of working with MS Office and documentation systems;
  • are fluent English speaker. Demant is a global company with English as company language, so it is important that you can communicate professionally to all our colleagues
  • are ability to travel to Denmark at least four time per year;
  • have knowledge about Bluetooth and wireless certification and environmental regulations is a benefit.
