IT implementation specialist for Finance

We are looking for an experienced and motivated IT implementation specialist for Finance to join our team and lead the successful implementation of our ERP systems within the finance department. You will be responsible for ensuring that the ERP systems are compliant, meets the business needs and industry best practices, and that the finance staff are trained and supported on the effective use of the system. You will also be involved in optimizing and enhancing the systems to improve performance and efficiency.

You will be working in a team of fourteen people in Group Financial Systems that is part of Group Finance. Our global finance team consist of over 600 professionals, and we operate in the areas of Financial Reporting and Compliance, Business Finance, Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, Financial Systems. Additionally, approximately 150 finance colleagues in our Shared Service Center in Poland play a crucial role in supporting our global business operations.

What tasks are waiting for you?

  • Implement financial systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with technical teams for system configuration, integration, and testing.
  • Translate business needs into system configurations and functionalities.
  • Work closely with finance stakeholders and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements for ERP implementation.
  • Oversee the migration of financial data to the new ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct data validation to guarantee the integrity of financial information.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for finance staff on the effective use of the ERP system.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for system processes and configurations.
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing issues and optimizing system performance.
  • Customize financial systems to meet specific finance requirements.
  • Continuously optimize and enhance financial systems to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Expect and annual travel commitment of 10-30 days depending on where we do ERP implementations.

It would be great if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial systems, business processes and accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in ERP implementations.
  • Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems (AX 2012/D365 F&O will be an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead projects effectively.
  • Working experience in a production company is a plus.
