As an IT Manager for Global IT Monitoring and DB Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability and performance of Demant’s global IT infrastructure. You will lead a team of more than 10 specialists responsible for database operations and monitoring services, while driving operational improvements, supporting strategic initiatives, and building strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organization.

What tasks are waiting for you?

• Manage and develop a global team of IT Monitoring and Database Operations specialists located in Poland and Malaysia
• Support, and motivate team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
• Ensure effective knowledge sharing and knowledge management within the team
• Oversee team performance and service delivery in line with agreed quality standards and operational objectives
• Develop and execute IT strategy and departmental goals
• Deliver high quality processes in a timely and accurate manner and coordinate activities between other IT and stakeholder teams.
• Implement and maintain new standards and solutions to ensure that business, security and compliance requirements are met.
• Build and maintain good business relationships with internal partners and stakeholders to achieve high standard of services.
• Participate in projects, training & supporting new initiatives in the organization as a leader.
• Support a Continuous Improvement culture within the organization.

• Extensive experience in IT availability and performance monitoring
• Experience in managing a global team spread across multiple geographies and cultures
• The ability to act calm in turbulent operational situations
• 3+ years of experience in people leadership role and you lead by example
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology or similar.
• Solid knowledge of ITIL and working experience of SAFe frameworks
• Curious mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
• High proficiency in engaging with stakeholders and ensuring smooth communication flow
• Great English skills that allow you to communicate seamlessly in business situations
• Experience in a global organization within a regulated industry and familiarity with GxP would be an advantage
