We are looking for a Group Financial Controller to join our Group Financial Reporting & ESG team. 
In this role, you will collaborate with finance teams across business units, corporate functions, external auditors, and sustainability stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting under IFRS while contributing to ESG reporting processes.

What tasks are waiting for you?

 

  • Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual Group reporting processes, including financial controlling, consolidation of subsidiaries, and preparation of external financial reporting.
  • Preparing consolidation entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and Group accounting policies.
  • Supporting external audit processes and coordinating information requests from auditors.
  • Maintaining and continuously improving Group reporting processes and documentation.
  • Performing financial analysis to support management reporting and decision-making.
  • Participating in finance projects, including process improvements and system implementations.
  • Ownership of your own reporting areas.
  • Supporting the preparation of sustainability disclosures in line with CSRD, ESRS, and other requirements.
  • Coordinating ESG data collection, validation, controlling and reporting across business units and functions.
  • Assisting in developing ESG reporting controls, governance processes, and documentation.
  • Supporting internal and external assurance activities related to ESG reporting.
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and best practices in sustainability reporting.
  • Collaborating with sustainability, HR, operations, and other stakeholders.

Apply if you:

 

  • hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline;
  • have 5-7 years of relevant experience in Big 4 audit or advisory, financial reporting or controlling in an international group, or within a listed company;
  • have a solid understanding of IFRS and group consolidation principles;
  • have experience with financial reporting in a multinational environment;
  • have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach;
  • are able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively;
  • have strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
  • are collaborative but also able to work independently;
  • are fluent in English.

 

It would be nice if you have:

  • knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks, including CSRD;
  • experience with consolidation and reporting systems;
  • advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel;
  • a continuous improvement mindset.
