Taking the overall leadership for the Continuous Improvement/GMS transformation journey in Global Operations. Anchored in the Global Operation Strategy the Head of Lean Systems & Leadership is pivotal for the deployment of Global Best Practices and Harvesting Global Synergies within our Global Operations sites – striving for business excellence and efficiency gain. The Head of Lean Systems & Leadership is our Lean Sensei and will be part of the Continuous Improvement leadership team of 5 experienced leaders. The Head of Lean Systems & Leadership will lead and inspire a global team of highly experienced GMS Partners in a matrix leadership role.. The position will plan and oversee the global GMS strategy and roadmap for GMS transformation activities in collaboration with the GMS Partners and Senior management levels to ensure adequate momentum in the transformation activities.

What tasks are waiting for you

  • you will reposition GMS by developing, maintaining, and deploying the Global Operations GMS strategy and roadmap in collaboration with GMS Partners;
  • you will challenge current KPIs and performance measures to reach Global Operations’ strategic ambitions as a matrix leader for global GMS Partners;
  • you will drive the standardization of Lean tools usage and adherence across the organization by site reviews and collaboration synergies;  also including the drive for digitalization and application of AI in our ways of working;
  • you will identify improvement potential and drive its realization by working with Global GMS Partners and GMS Specialists;
  • you will establish and maintain an engaged GMS Community across Global Operations, IT, Quality, and Wholesale/Retail;
  • you will be an active lead, facilitator, and trainer of cross-functional Kaizens, PSPs, and Policy Deployment processes;
  • ou will be the personnel manager of the GMS Academy & Learning position in the team;
  • you will be a strong contributor to the GMS Academy.

It would be great if you:

  • have +5 years of experience leading a LEAN transformation in an international company with complex electronics/Medical device supply chain and manufacturing processes
  • have a university degree in Industrial Engineering, Management and Production Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • have experience in change management and process optimization;
  • have a solid knowledge and experience of Lean tools;
  • are able to manage training, learning processes, and projects;
  • have a good command of English and Polish, enabling fluent communication both spoken and written;
  • are comfortable working both in a team and independently;
  • demonstrate strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills;
  • have excellent communication skills, coupled with drive and self-motivation;
  • are a pragmatic person at work, able to communicate ideas clearly, inspire others, and motivate them to act.
