Global Manufacturing System Director in Global Custom & Service Operations

Taking the overall leadership for the Continuous Improvement transformation journey in Global Custom & Service Operations.

Anchored in the Global Operation Strategy the role of GMS Director is pivotal for the deployment Global Best Practices and Harvesting Global Synergies within our Global Custom & Service HUBs in Mexico, Poland & Australia. Additionally, collaboration with our Wholesale Operations sites is expected to continue business excellence.

The GMS Director will be part of the Global Custom & Service Organization leadership team and will play a vital role in setting the direction for the organizations +1400 employees. The position will plan and oversee the global strategy and roadmap for GMS transformation activities in collaboration with the global site heads and local GMS coordinators and therefore ensure adequate momentum in the deployment activities.

What tasks are waiting for you?

• Will develop, maintain & Deploy Global Custom & Service Operations - GMS roadmap.
• Identify improvement potentials and drive their realization through working with the local GMS Coordinators and management.
• The position will challenge current KPIs and performance measures to reach the Global OPS strategic ambitions for “On time Deliveries” and “Cost savings” as a member of GCO LT.
• Lead GMS strategic Project.
• Responsible for GMS training activities across all relevant parts of GCO.
• Will establish and maintain a GMS Community across Global Custom & Service Operations sites and Wholesale Operations.
• Strong contribution to the GMS Academy.

Our requirements:

• Professional competencies:
  Skills in Lean transformation and toolbox, training & learning management, project management, change management, leadership, supply chain and logistics.
• Personal competencies:
  Ability to work in teams and individually, business awareness, customer orientation, global leadership and change management, ability to create structure and framing projects.
  Expected that ideal candidate will have a hands on approach, be to the point, create followership by setting example on behaviors, ambition and high independent drive.

Due to the scope of work across different stakeholders, occasional international travel may be required.
