Director Senior Supplier Quality Manager

The Director of Supplier Quality Management (SQM) leads the global SQM organization and
plays an active role in executing supplier quality activities. This role ensures strategic alignment, regulatory compliance, supplier performance excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across the global supply base. The Director is responsible for leading a cross regional SQM team, shaping long term quality strategy, developing competencies, and serving as the key decision-maker for supplier qualification, audits, and escalations.

What tasks are waiting for you?

  • Defining and executing the global Supplier Quality strategy;
  • Leading and developing SQM teams in Poland;
  • Building organizational capabilities through training, coaching, mentoring and succession planning;
  • Driving global standardization and strengthening SQM governance;
  • Taking lead on cross functional projects for supplier quality improvement projects;
  • Translating business objectives into SQM priorities and resource planning;
  • Managing budgeting, capacity planning and organizational design;
  • Owning Supplier Surveillance, supplier evaluations and re qualification processes;
  • Communicating supplier performance, risks and strategic recommendations to leadership;
  • Driving digitalization of SQM processes, dashboards and data flows;
  • Supporting ESG and sustainability integration within supplier quality;
  • Preparing the organization for emerging regulatory and technological changes;
  • Promoting process simplification and workflow automation.

Apply today if you:

  • Have 7+ years of experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Management;
  • Have  5+ years of leadership experience in a global or matrix organization.
  • Possess strong knowledge of ISO 13485, MDSAP, MDR, and medical device regulations;
  • Hold an Auditor certification and extensive supplier audit experience;
  • Have strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Have experience with global suppliers and multicultural environments;
  • Provide Technical insight into electronics, chipsets, and mechanical components;
  • Have Strong Project Management and stakeholder skills;

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in medical device industry supply chains.
  • Background in engineering (electrical, mechanical, materials, or similar).
