In Demant Group Procurement we are 36 skilled and experienced colleagues working in Denmark and Poland. We are looking for a person to continue and expand the Indirect Procurement journey within our company where you will be part of the Indirect Procurement team, located in Poland, Mierzyn. The team currently consists of 7 team members (4 in Denmark, 1 N US and 2 in Poland) with reference to the Head of Global Indirect Procurement. 
Take the lead and develop Indirect Procurement categories with procurement quality
Joining us, you will be developing the Retail categories, Sales & Marketing, Operations as well as other focus areas in Poland. However, category responsibility may change over time.
 
You will ensure procurement quality within your categories by increasing the overall value from the supply base and by providing support and knowledge to our business. You will collaborate with many stakeholders – both internally and externally – whom you actively approach and engage with to enhance our procurement footprint. You will also support our business units internationally. Annually, you must therefore expect 15-20 days of travelling.

Your primary tasks will be to:

• Collaborate with highly skilled stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies, review supplier performance, and remain knowledgeable of global market trends
• Conduct analyses and facilitate e-sourcing projects and tenders
• Prepare and implement negotiation strategies ahead of project finalizations
• Promote Demant’s digital agenda through e-sourcing and other digital tools and systems

Who are you?

• You have a commercial university degree combined with years of experience from a similar role, where you have a proven track-record from several disciplines within procurement. As a person, you hopefully enjoy applying a detail-oriented approach while also maintaining an overview of the big picture.
• Ideally, your competencies are within data mining, digital procurement, and contract negotiation and you possess an inherent urge to deliver savings and creating value.
• You are fluent in both spoken and written English language. Finally, you enjoy negotiating both internally with stakeholders and externally with suppliers.
