Role Purpose :
As the Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of diagnostic equipment and consumables across Australia. You will lead and develop a high-performing team to enhance service offerings for our customers.
Key Accountabilities :
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the Sonic Equipment team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Sales Strategy: Drive sales initiatives and translate market plans into actionable strategies to achieve set goals.
- Customer Management: Manage sales to your own customer base and oversee tender submissions.
- Marketing Development: Create and implement marketing plans, organize seminars, and prepare budgets to support sales efforts.
- Pipeline Management: Enhance lead generation and pipeline management using Salesforce to track and optimize sales processes.
- Market Coordination: Coordinate and implement sales and marketing activities across the full product portfolio.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decision-making.
- Long-term Planning: Develop and execute long-term business strategies that align with company objectives and drive sustainable growth.
- Partnership Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and industry leaders to enhance market presence.
- Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business unit performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on business objectives and fostering collaboration across departments.
- Budget Support: support General Manager with the business unit's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets while identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in the medical or diagnostic equipment sector.
Skills and Abilities :
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Proficiency in Navision or other ERP systems
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
