An exciting new job

Your focus is developing a reliable and maintainable new framework and solutions that support robust verification and validation performance

 

In your daily work, you have a wide contact surface, as you will work together with different product teams in an agile setup along with having contact with a broad range of stakeholders.

 

As part of your job, you will:

  • Analyze, design, model, implement, and test solutions in line with feature requirements. 
  • Participate in planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies. 
  • Create and review technical documentation. 
  • Contribute to system and software architecture with a focus on quality, innovation, and maintainability. 
  • Coordinate and solve complex design challenges. 
  • Work with your team to shape DevOps software development processes and procedures. 
  • Mentor colleagues within the team and other teams that need our expertise in CI/CD and DevOps practices, including support new team members.
  • Be an integral developer and expertise of test software and test system for the Agile Development Teams in ART. 

Become part of team Test Systems Development

You will become part of a team of eight Systems Developers and Test System Developers; 4 located in Poland and 4 in Denmark.

 

With backgrounds as Electronics – and Systems Engineers we have been working together for a long period. People tend to stay in Demant for a long time due to motivating and challenging tasks, and personal development.

What we are looking for

The job based in Smørum. It is important that you can start onsite from day one.

 

In your work you have a constant focus on architecture, code quality, testing, and documentation. With an inquisitive mindset you are motivated for continuous learning. You consistently demonstrate a careful attention to detail and a focus on high quality.

 

You come with:

  • A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline. 
  • Hands-on experience with software development including lifecycle, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. 
  • Updated programming skills in C#/.NET, Python and JavaScript. 
  • Experience with UML or similar modeling tools. 
  • Experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining build/release pipelines.
  • Experience with UI development; desktop and/or web.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies e.g. Scrum as daily development approach. 
  • Experience applying AI in software or system solutions will be an advantage. 
  • Understanding or experience with hardware–software integration challenges, PCB development, hearing instruments, acoustics, electronics, RF will be an advantage.
  • Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) or similar development approaches. 

 

Finally, you are fluency in written and spoken English.
