Are you interested in working with developing hearing instruments with a focus on end-user interaction? Do you thrive in a multidisciplinary, international environment? Are you ready to inspire with your quality-oriented mindset?
If your answer is “Yes,” join our committed team to improving the quality of life for hearing-impaired people through innovative technology.
At Demant, we produce audiological solutions that enhance the lives of our hearing aid users. We bring the latest technological innovations together in the complex and constrained form factor that is a hearing aid. Quality and attention to detail is paramount at every step of the developmental life cycle. Would you like to be part of that journey?

Ensure quality at every step of development

Developing hearing aid solutions involves a complex system with many parts working in concert. The audiological solutions group contributes to hearing aid feature development, advancing novel ideas and hardware through essential processes to bring commercial products to fruition. As a test engineer, you will be the glue between these steps, guiding the team to set milestones and ensuring the quality of our deliveries.
In your new role, you will have responsibilities, some specific to your role, some shared with your team, that can include:

  • Implement test activities within your team, encouraging good practices and a quality-focused mindset.
  • Create, update, and maintain manual and automated tests for our audiological system functions.
  • Understand and anticipate interactions between different system parts to support impact analyses and test planning.
  • Investigate, probe and debug when things don’t go as expected.
  • Conduct informal listening and exploratory testing to quickly catch and react to unexpected behaviors.
  • Collaborate on non-test related activities, such as algorithm development, system integration, requirements writing, and reviewing.
