The role 

Developing hearing aid solutions involves a complex system where multiple components work together harmoniously. The Audiological Solutions Group leads this effort, transforming innovative ideas and hardware into market-ready products through essential processes. 

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will create test scripts using a keyword scripting approach for our Automated System Test Tool. You will collaborate closely with highly skilled colleagues, including those who develop and maintain our test automation framework, as well as audiological experts. 

You can expect the following responsibilities in your new role: 

• Test automation scripting at the system level (including maintenance) 

• Reporting on test progress, raising, and tracking defects 

• Integrating automated tests into Continuous Integration (CI) 

• Using version control systems to track changes in scripts and create branches 

• Working closely with the Test Manager and Test Architect to ensure comprehensive test coverage 

• Providing input to the framework to ensure future test automation support 

The team 

Your new position is based at headquarter in Smørum, Denmark, where you’ll be part of a team highly competent in testing and requirements. We plan to increase our investment in test automation to broaden test coverage and improve efficiency, which aligns closely with our department’s strategic goals. About you 

You have experience in both software testing and programming and are eager to combine these skills. You are proficient with version control tools (e.g., Perforce) and automated build and test flows (e.g., TeamCity). You enjoy working with complex IT solutions and have a talent for debugging test scripts and analysing test results to identify the root cause of issues. Additionally, you are familiar with Agile methodologies. 

You have excellent communication and teamwork skills, allowing you to work effectively with developers, test managers, test architects, and other stakeholders. 

A master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field would be advantageous.
