Developing hearing aid solutions involves a complex system with many parts working in concert.
The Audiological Solutions Group oversees hearing aid feature development, managing innovative ideas and hardware through the necessary processes to transform them into commercial products.
As a Senior test Engineer, you are integral to the software development lifecycle, ensuring that our hearing aids meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This role involves using technical knowledge while collaborating with others.
In your new role, your responsibilities may include:
- Review and evaluate system requirements to confirm they are testable
- Create test cases with detailed test steps based on software requirement and test design
- Ensure that the test cases cover all aspects of functionality, performance, and stability
- Perform manual testing using various tools and frameworks to conduct tests efficiently
- Document test cases and test results using our Test Management tool
- Work closely with software developers and test architects to understand product design and implementation
- Communicate effectively with test managers and stakeholders to align testing efforts with project goals
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency
- Implement continuous testing practices to ensure rapid feedback on code changes

Be part of a diverse team in Smørum, Denmark
Your new role will be based at our Smørum, Denmark headquarters, where you'll join a team of 23 people. The team includes a test manager, test architect, and test engineers. You'll collaborate closely with other teams to design, implement, test, and qualify full-stack increments of our products following SAFe practices. You and your teams will have significant freedom in your approach, taking ideas from conception to product, with business support to guide future directions. We encourage innovation and creativity, improving existing constructions at every level of our organization.
Trust and openness
You have several years of experience in testing electroacoustics or audiological features, with a strong proficiency in practical acoustic measurements. As a motivated and communicative advocate for good testing practices, you inspire your colleagues to adopt better methodologies.
You most likely have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. Additionally, having ISTQB certifications and experience with continuous testing would be highly beneficial.
You are comfortable with the basic programming tasks needed for test automation (mainly in). Maybe you also possess knowledge of Python and XML syntax. Finally, you have the bandwidth to learn new internal tools and processes. You are systematic in your approach to new problems and comfortable breaking down, learning, and navigating complex systems. Furthermore, you see yourself as a team player who thrives in working in close collaboration with your peers and who values trust and openness.
