Senior Sales Excellence Manager for a leading global MedTech 

  

You start your day with a call to the Sales Leader in Australia, where you follow up on the progress after the sales excellence deep dive meeting you facilitated last month.  

  

You support and guide them through the next steps and share your views on how they can move forward.  

  

You then continue your work on developing our Sales Leader Insights Community, before ending the day with a quick touch point to join forces with some of our colleagues developing BI dashboards in Poland.

Senior Sales Excellence Manager 

 

As the incoming Senior Sales Excellence Manager, you will engage with Sales Managers around the globe to facilitate the most favorable circumstances for them to make informed choices regarding their commercial strategies.

 

You contribute overall to the joint development, implementation, embedding, and maintenance of Demant Wholesale insights, tools, and related workflows in relation to sales excellence processes. You will also support change management, and anchor new best practices into daily life. You will need to work closely with both global and local colleagues to ensure positive outcomes.

This opportunity enables you to engage in transformative technological advances within a distinguished healthcare organization. With your experience in how to simplify complexity and engage and motivate stakeholders from many different markets, you will be crucial in implementing sales excellence practices globally - using facts, insights and best practice processes to deliver commercial results. 

 
 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Lead our engagement journey for sales excellence practices. 
  • Develop presentations and host meetings using global insights to discuss commercial improvements with local and global sales management and other key stakeholders. 
  • Communicate global processes, insights and tools in a simple and engaging manner. 
  • Co-develop new sales excellence insights with selected markets and roll out globally. 
  • Collaborate with other teams such as Commercial Technology (Salesforce CRM) and Commercial Data and Analytics (Power BI) to bring valuable solutions to the markets. 
  • Secure key stakeholder buy-in to sales excellence projects and concepts. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of how our sales reps and managers work with processes, sales/ marketing technology and data. 
  • Show the same degree of engagement and focus on team assignments as you typically do for your personal projects. 

  

You should expect 8-12 travel days a year. 

Are you our new colleague? 

 

It is likely that you have a background in business, management, strategy, finance, economics, or similar areas, along with a motivating philosophy and a sincere aim to support local colleagues in their pursuits.  

 
 

We are looking for a positive and outgoing person who can effectively engage with sales leaders about process improvements. You are diligent and work well both alongside others and as part of a team, and we expect you to be structured and comfortable working with measurable targets.  

  

The optimal candidate can checkmark most of the following: 

  

  • A skilled communicator with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders. 
  • Minimum five years of experience working with salesforce effectiveness and/or sales KPI’s in BI. 
  • Experience in B2B sales environment (life science experience is valuable but not essential). 
  • Experience working across different countries and cultures in a global or regional position. 
  • Experience working as an internal/external consultant or working with Sales Managers/General Managers to accomplish their tasks. 
  • Consistently performed well in educational and work-related tasks. 
  • Fluent in English and one other language.
