Senior System Development Engineer for Audiological Solutions

Make a real difference

You will work with a team of experts who develop solutions that make a real difference in the lives of our end-users (hearing impaired people) and our customers (hearing care professionals).

 

Your role will involve understanding the current system architecture and system design of the Hearing Instrument Devices.

 

Based on this you will ensure that new audiological features and user interaction methods can be integrated seamlessly into the current system. This includes work on system level requirements and working with our Test Developers to make sure the system can be tested accordingly.

 

You will interact with many other teams and stakeholders across the company including embedded software teams, end-user app teams and fitting software teams.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Development of requirements, system architecture and system design.
  • Play a central role in designing how our end users interact with our devices.
  • Work and communicate effectively within a team and with stakeholders across different departments in the company.
  • Follow the product development process from ideation and feature design to verification, defect analysis and resolution and final delivery and release.
  • Generation of ideas and innovation projects.

 

In your day-to-day work you will work as a part of a scrum team practicing the Agile methodology in a SAFe setup.

 

We are a medical device company and therefore it´s also important that you document and develop solutions of high quality to comply with standards of regulated bodies.

Could we be a match?

We seek an enthusiastic engineer with 3-5 years of experience in system development and user interaction to become part of our team. Experience with audiology, acoustics or psychoacoustics is beneficial for this position.

 

It is essential that you have a B.Sc. / M.Sc. in engineering or similar.

 

You are diligent and thorough when working with details but at the same time maintain a higher-level overview and assess the consequences of your decisions on the system.

 

You are responsible and determined to drive technical solutions in a complex and controlled system.

 

You are genuinely excited for user interaction and have a real interest for how the end-users interact with and perceive our devices.

 

On the personal side you are structured in your way of working and using guidelines and documentation comes naturally to you.

 

You are naturally inclined to reach out to and handle interactions with a broad network of stakeholders.
