Imagine a universe of all high-tech engineering competencies under one roof. Imagine more than 650 engineers working as a united team on a unique medical product. A product that changes people’s life to the better. Now, stop imagining and enter our world - the Oticon universe.

Designing world-leading electronics
All in all, we are about 50 engineers and technicians in our Electronics Group. Our main goal is to develop the electronics solutions for all Oticon’s hearing aids and accessories. We have a close collaboration with our Chipset Group, which develops the company’s proprietary ICs. Our team integrates the ICs onto very small PCBs. We use technologies like 2.4GHz Bluetooth Low Energy & NFMI antennas, acoustical & magnetic transducers, and rechargeable batteries to finally put the entire hearing instrument system together.

The Area
Being a part of the Electronics Group, the PCB Team is responsible for designing PCBs for all Demant’s hearing aid products and accessories.

The Electronics Group integrate 2.4GHz Bluetooth transceivers, magnetic radios, sensors, electronics and antennas for very small hearing aids, placed behind – or even in – the ear. This real challenging integration task stands on the shoulders of a solid state-of-the-art PCB design. We aim to develop innovative designs supporting advanced performance without jeopardizing product size and shape. In order to continue, we need to expand our Team of skilled PCB designers.
