Your impact
As our new Manager PDM, you will become part of our Project Excellence team, leading an engaged, diverse, and multidisciplinary team of Product Data Management specialists and other technical experts in the field of HW development. You will play a key role in enhancing team engagement and motivation via your example, inspirational leadership, and communication.

We work in a matrix organization, and you will be working on several projects with participants and stakeholders both within and outside the hardware organization. Your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Allocate resources for project activities
  • Budgeting and financial responsibility for the team
  • Identifying and reacting on development needs of your team
  • Conducting cycled line management activities like development discussions, competence reviews and salary regulations within own team
  • Overall accountable for delivery of the team’s technical area, including medical compliance
  • Steering periodical improvement projects within Product Data Management
  • Participate actively and regularly in initiatives improving strategies, processes, and ways of working in project team and the organization you are part of
  • Managing complex stakeholder environment around the team inclusive collaborating with the other HW development disciplines

Your background
We expect that you come with a relevant educational background, M.Sc. (Civil), B.Sc. (Diploma) within Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent fields.

We expect that you have several years of experience of PDM (Product Data Management) Systems and processes associated with HW and SW development.  Furthermore, you bring some years of experience leading teams in a multi-product R&D organization, and it will give you a head start if you have experience in agile ways of working and have worked with medical devices, consumer electronics, or in a regulated industry. 

We have a diverse working culture, and our corporate language is English, which is a pre-requisite, to explain complicated technical subjects to stakeholders on all levels and functions across the whole organization.
