We have a collaborative and creative atmosphere where respect is central, and where we work together towards common goals.
Embedded SW development for a resource constrained platform
Our goal is to deliver the most advanced low-power audio-enabled device, meeting medical device standards. This entails designing safe C code that provides advanced functionality with real-time guarantees for the audio system, while at the same time balancing memory consumption, compute cycles and power efficiency.
Our embedded software platform includes real-time operating system, file system, communication stacks, security, wireless audio systems and much more. Our software solutions are reviewed, optimized, and automatically tested in our continuous integration pipelines.
Our group is involved in all phases of product development, from system design to market release. This makes our work very diverse in terms of both pace and content. We work on advanced, custom-made, multi-core SoC solutions, and use a number of specialized in-house tools and procedures that assist our development at every stage.
As a member of embedded SW team your main responsibilities would be to:
- Design, develop, document, test and release embedded SW applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SW features into hearing instruments.
- Debug and resolve issues related to application SW.
- Implement and maintain unit tests and other automated regression tests.
- Share knowledge with your colleagues and participate in team ceremonies.
Your profile
We expect you to hold a relevant degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering and that you have some experience within the following areas of embedded SW development:
- Embedded software development in C.
- Embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Programming for memory-, power-, time-constrained systems.
- Unit and system testing.
- Version control systems.
- Linux and scripting.
We would consider it a plus if you had knowledge of processor architectures and experience with advanced build flows and multi-core development for real-time environments.
You are a collaborative team player who seeks the best solutions through constructive dialogue. You like to build maintainable code and take responsibility for all aspects of your work, including design, implementation, documentation and testing. You like learning new things and you are motivated by contributing to high quality of team deliveries.
You are ready to join us working on-site in our headquarters in Smørum (greater Copenhagen) from day one.
We encourage you to apply also if you are newly graduated or have only a few years of relevant industry experience.
