Transformation into SAFe
You will be driving and heading up the SAFe transformation within Device Software in R&D. This includes all aspects of the transformation from mindset to specific processes and monitor value creations.

All this in close collaboration with your own team of SAFe Program Consultants (SPC’s), Device Software LT, other R&D SAFe responsible roles and key stakeholders in the larger hearing instrument group.

In addition, you will manage the team who is responsible for Device Software releases and hereby ensure that SAFe principles are applied within Software releasing processes and workflows. You will conduct competence management of own team of 3-4 SAFe program consultants and 6 SW release leaders moving into SAFe release and integration management.

You will be a key figure in our SAFe journey in a unit that is ready to embrace a new way of working. Summed up, you will:

  • guide SAFe transformation within Device SW unit in R&D in close collaboration with key stakeholders
  • promote lean-agile leadership principles across Device Software working closely with RTEs, SAFe release managers, Scrum Master and other SAFe leadership roles
  • optimize and execute Device SW release workflow, tools, and processes in accordance with SAFe principles and ambitions
  • support and implement selected R&D strategic initiative
  • participate in optimizing resource usage to free up capacity within Device Software

Welcome to Device Software
You will become part of Device Software and will take on a central role in the leadership team reporting to VP of Device Software. In Device Software we are more than 300 people, and we are accountable for delivering embedded software for all Demant Hearing Instruments and solutions. 

We are about 800 engineers within R&D, working with numerous cutting-edge technologies and innovations. Here, you will be part of a collaborative environment built on trust and openness.

This goes from research and innovations through development and release of final validated software products. All this in close collaboration and alignment with other R&D units, Product Management, Quality etc.

Experienced SAFe background
Your educational background is not central. What we are looking for, is extensive experience in agile leadership and SAFe. You have ideally learned a lot during past transformations and know what it takes to suceed in transforming a large SW organization into agile leadership.

We are in the transition into SAFe and therefore we need an experienced and proven leader who can promote agile leadership ways of working and optimizations to ensure continuous delivery of value of Device Software releases.

You never give up and you are excellent in managing stakeholders in a motivating and energizing way. You also have experience within how to optimize continuous value creation through SW releasing. You have great people management skills and is a good communicator.
