(Senior) Test System Developer

About the job

In short, you can look forward to the following responsibilities:  

  • Identifying, developing and deploying new features in accordance with business needs by writing clean, efficient, and scalable code. 
  • Maintaining and optimizing existing code.
  • Collaborating with product owner, scrum master, framework user and other engineers to deliver features and improvements. 
  • Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback. 

The team you will be part of 

We are pleased to introduce you to Connectivity Verification team, which is a part of Connectivity ART with over 70 professionals developing connectivity solutions for hearing aid users. 

 

We are organized in SAFe framework, where Connectivity ART is divided into small scrum teams. 

 

The position will be based at Smørum, Denmark headquarters. The team is working across two sites – Denmark and Poland.

Qualifications & Experience 

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent. 

 

We expect you to have several years of experience as a Developer combined with a background in object-oriented programming skills, preferably in Java.

 

Furthermore, you are comfortable writing testable code, e.g. using Test Driven Development approach. 

 

The role requires experience with: 

  • Programming languages like Java, Python, Kotlin.
  • IntelliJ development environment.
  • CI/CD development process and related tools like TeamCity. 
  • Version control systems and review tools (e.g. Gerrit).
  • Working according to Agile methodology.

 

It is a plus if you have as well experience with the following:  

  • Basic Concepts of Bluetooth Low Energy.
  • Appium.
  • ADB (android debugging bridge).
  • REST API´s.
  • Sphinx documentation framework.
  • PowerShell.

 

On a personal level, you have attention to details and a preference to work within a scrum team. You are analytic and always open to doing things a little better every day.
