The primary responsibility is to design, develop, and launch next generations of CI Sound Processors.

  • Architect, design and write high-quality firmware RTL following best practices such as efficiency, maintainability, and testability
  • Perform SW/HW integration to provide a fully functional & safe solution
  • Develop unit tests, component tests and continuous integration for your firmware
  • Perform hands-on board bringup and debugging 
  • Provide medical grade documentation in accordance with design procedure.
  • Work in close collaboration with Product owner, technical leader and architect to build electronic specifications.
     

The You!

We expect you bring to the table, several of the skills listed below:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent in experience
  • 5+ years experience writing VHDL or Verilog embedded applications on FPGAs with strong integration constraints. (Lattice design flow is an advantage)
  • In depth knowledge of physical FPGA constraints such as timing, architecture, and interfaces
  • Experience with hardware interfacing and understanding of communication protocols ( SPI, UART, I2C)
  • Comfortable with analog and digital hardware circuit design and analysis
  • Knowledge in Instrumentation & automatization 
  • Driven by results, Problem-solving skills, and attention to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Knowledge and experience in development, regulatory and quality processes is appreciated.
  • “Agile” experience is appreciated but not mandatory
  • English (spoken/written).
