Your key responsibilities include:
- Design and develop electronics solutions for Cochlear Implant according to internal procedures and guidelines.
- Work in close collaboration with Project Manager, System Engineering, Regulatory specialists and other sactakholders to build design requirements.
- Creating electronic schematic, PCB requirements and support PCB design and layout activities.
- Conduct and participate to technical design reviews.
- Perform debugging, verification and and characterization of electronic designs through a combination of simulations and physical laboratory testing on prototype and final design.
- Provide medical grade documentation in accordance with design procedure.
- Specify requirements to support incoming inspection and electrical/functionnal tests for production workflow.
- Ensure technical support of existing products and assist the change management process.
As a person:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with at least 5 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in designing analog and mixed electronics circuits from feasibility through to production, from board to system level.
- Strong proficiency with lab test equipment including multi meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrom analyzer, …
- Good knowledge of EMI, EMC and regulatory standards applicable to electrical equipments and systems.
- Experience with electronics reliability in safety-critical applications is appreciated.
- Experience in medical device or other highly regulated environments.
- Driven by results, Problem-solving skills, and attention to detail with a focus on quality.
- Strong analytical ability with a pragmatic attitude, Team player with excellent social and communication skills.
- Ability to manage your own tasks, and to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- “Agile” experience is appreciated but not mandatory.
- English (spoken/written).
