Product Quality Planning Engineer

EPOS is seeking a dedicated Product Quality Planner to oversee and enhance our product development and manufacturing processes. Your opportunity
As our new Product Quality Planner, you will be part of the Quality & Support team in Global Operations. You will work closely together with the Global Support and Manufacturing team and will further engage with R&D and Product Management in Denmark, our Quality team and suppliers in China.

In this role, it is your responsibility to ensure that our products fulfil the user’s expectations in line with the premium EPOS brand and the standards defined.
The ideal candidate will have an important role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customers’ requirements and standards.     
 

The responsibilities include: 

• Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
• Taking ownership of the quality of products 
• Developing product qualification plans on basis of our latest standards and requirements
• Improving the process of finding solutions together with Global Support when product quality issues arise 
• Driving product quality improvements 
• Contributing to the development of new product quality standards and processes 
• Monitoring, validating and reporting on product quality status 
• Supervise inspectors, technicians, and Quality Engineers in China 
• Set requirements for raw materials used in production
• Keep documentation and perform statistical analysis on market failures on product quality
• Analyze data to identify trends in product quality and defects to prevent future defects
• Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
• Planning of external audits at suppliers in collaboration with EPOS China.

To succeed in the role, you have the following qualifications:

• Holds an educational background on Bachelor or Master level from e.g Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related fields
• +4 years of experience in Product Quality planning and execution
• An analytical mind and strong eye for detail
• Good coordination skills and a collaborative mind
   

On a personal level you have a practical hands-on approach characterized by your ability to actively develop work processes forward with great enthusiasm and responsibility. Your analytical skills enabling you to quickly break down technical issues and processes and to communicate the result on to decisions makers in a simple and efficient way.
