Category Manager Electronics, Global Operations

EPOS is looking for a professional and strategic Category Manager for Electronic components to have an important role in optimizing our supplier base and driving strategic initiatives. Your opportunity
As our new Category Manager for Electronic Components, you will have a unique opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills in a Global setting. You will work with our R&D and technology team to have competitive suppliers, technology, and material available for our projects to deliver premium Audio quality at best-in-class cost.
Our strategic suppliers must deliver consistent and predictable material, components, and services, that matches our EPOS advanced audio products, directly to our contract manufactures in Asia. 

You will be part of our Contract Manufacturing team in Global Operations with colleagues located at EPOS Headquarters in Ballerup and our branch office in DongGuan China and as part of the Demant Group you will be working closely and have sparring with experienced colleagues in the Category Management Area at Demant.  

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include: 
Strategic supplier management:

  • Commercial relationship (pricing, forecasts, roadmaps)
  • Business reviews including price negotiation 
  • Escalations (Supply & Technical to project & management)

Price analysis:

  • Review RFQ details (Quote BOMs) 
  • Request Quotes from Tier 2 suppliers (Electronics) when required
  • Evaluate alternatives with R&D

Support procurement & planning:

  • Define component contract pricing to our factories 
  • Solve shortage/allocation with EPOS strategic suppliers
  • Provide lifecycle analysis via Silicon Expert

Together with the Category team you will analyze cost opportunities and define associated tasks and organize category roadmap reviews with existing and potential suppliers. Furthermore, you will take lead on Category teams with other functions represented.

Your backpack
You come with a background in electronics either academic or practical and have a proven record of dealing commercially with large international electronic suppliers. 


We are looking for a Category Manager who has experience working with price negotiation in a setup with external Contract Manufacturing and experience with developing and implementing supplier contracts and agreements.


Furthermore, you possess leadership capabilities, specifically in managing cross-functional teams, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively across various functions within the organization.
