Territory Sales & Service Manager

Purpose of the Position

Reporting to the General Manager of Diatec Canada Ltd., the Territory Sales & Service Manager is responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing customer accounts for a specific territory/geographical area/region of the Company. They meet and exceed short- and long-term territory sales plans and objectives established in the Company’s Business Plan. The Territory Manager provides exceptional customer service and represent the Company to the customer in an exemplary and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully represent and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers
  • Manage field service technical team
  • Respond to incoming calls from customers and prospects in a timely manner
  • Provide quotations via SalesForce
  • Identify customer expectations and exercise decision making ability to determine the best product/service mix to meet customer’s needs
  • Communicate customer expectations to various support departments
  • Meet annual sales growth goals
  • Evaluate account base. Develop strategies, tactics and contingency plans to obtain specific market share
  • Consult clients on equipment options based on client’s workflow and clinic footprint
  • Communicate customer marketing requests to marketing department
  • Participate in Trade Show Planning Teams
  • Prepare budget/forecast
  • Attend Sales meetings
  • Schedule sales and travel activities
  • Introduce new products to existing and new customers
  • Represent company at regional or national trade shows and on office visits
  • Maintain professionalism, including certifications and licensures as appropriate. Stay abreast of new developments through meeting, publications, seminars and in-house training opportunities

Education and Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Sales or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of general selling experience. Previous experience selling diagnostic medical equipment is an asset
  • Experience in bio-medical service and calibration is an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SalesForce
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact with customers
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills with technical aptitude
