Engineering Graduate // Demant's Graduate Programme

Welcome to our Graduate Programme. We offer you a career in a leading Danish C25 company, that creates life-changing products for people around the world. We will guide you through a two-year journey here at our headquarters, just outside Copenhagen.

You will start on 1 September 2024, where you will join three different teams, working with different projects. This will provide you with a broad business understanding and strong network of people across all functions. You will be given a lot of responsibility from day one to develop your professional and personal skills in the best possible way. After this, you will be offered a permanent position.

As we are operating in more than 30 countries, many of our graduates get the chance to go abroad for half a year, depending on business needs. Besides that, you will join a fantastic network with all the other graduates and can look forward to some fun team days, training sessions and trips to our different business units.

Your journey as an Engineering graduate
Here at Demant, we build the most advanced hearing solutions in the world. We are navigating at the forefront of technology and try to venture beyond. Our high-tech products make a huge difference for people with a hearing loss. 

In our R&D department, we have super talented people and experts, who develop our own chipsets, electronics, mechanics, hearing aid software, and software for the audiologists and the end-users. We encourage our engineers to come with their own ideas and input, as we want them to leave their fingerprints on the final product. Everybody has access to the best and newest equipment and our fine labs, which is highly appreciated by our employees.

We are leading in using artificial intelligence within our industry, with our first product release using AI back in 2020. For the Graduate Programme, we are looking specifically for a Software Engineering student with specialization or extensive knowledge in AI. You will have one rotation in our Quality department in two rotations within Software. You will learn both the benefits on using AI solutions in our product offerings, but also how to use AI in our internal development and Quality processes.

We would like to get to know you
To apply for our programme, you are just about to finish your Master studies within Software development including a specialization or extensive knowledge in AI or have graduated no more than 1-2 years ago. You are a top performer with excellent achievements in your studies, through your (student) work experience or extracurricular activities. You have furthermore gained international experience through a semester or internship abroad or similar. And last, you are fluent in English.

As a person, we believe that you like to collaborate with others and have a high drive and passion for what you do. You are both strategic and pragmatic and go for the ambitious goal. You have a curious mindset, are hardworking, and - most important - humble.

Deadline

Recruitment process
10-14 January: Sending in a 2min video of yourself answering two specific questions
24 January: All-day Assessment Center at our headquarters in Smørum close to Copenhagen
29 January – 2 February: Final interviews including prior online assessments on personal competencies and logical skills
