We are looking for an experienced Product Director to bridge the gap between our technical teams and business stakeholders. A key role in an international setup
As a Product Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping strategy and developing innovative solutions.
In this role, you will oversee a diverse product portfolio, including custom hearing aids, earpieces (instant fit silicone domes, custom-built molds from ear impressions), hearing aid speakers, and chargers for rechargeable hearing aid. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the delivery of ear-piece solutions that provide the best fit, sound quality, comfort, and quality across a broad hearing aid portfolio. You will collaborate with the team to meet user and customer needs.
Operating within the SAFe® (Scaled Agile Framework®) across the Hearing Aid Solutions area, you will act as a SAFe® Business Owner and Strategic Theme Owner, defining and prioritizing business needs on behalf of hearing care professionals and businesses across the entire value chain. You will analyze key issues and opportunities, define strategic themes and initiatives, and work closely with various stakeholders across Sales, R&D, Quality and Operations, to ensure decisions align with long-term strategic goals.
Key responsibilities
You can look forward to a wide range of interesting tasks, including:
- Research and understand market needs and opportunities, translating these into an area strategy and strategic themes and initiatives. This includes defining business cases to set prioritizations.
- Set the strategic direction for custom hearing aids and earpieces and maintain building a portfolio that meets the needs of hearing aid users, as well as hearing care professionals and businesses that work with the portfolio daily.
- Define and manage the solution portfolio with the core team, working with a roadmap of key projects that deliver on value propositions.
- Participate in the prioritization of relevant ART (SAFe® Agile Release Train) backlog items in line with market understanding and the overall portfolio strategy and roadmap.
- Follow up on implemented solutions and accompanying business cases to complete the learning loop, continuing the investment or adjust existing portfolio elements based on learnings.
You should expect up to 20 days of travel each year.

The position is based at our Head Office in Smørum, Denmark, and you will report to the Senior Director of Solution Planning within the Portfolio Management team.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we imagine that you bring:
- A strong background in mechanical or electronic engineering, complemented by business and marketing skills, enabling you to identify and meet user and customer needs with innovative solutions.
- Proven stakeholder and project management skills within a matrix organization.
- Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®), particularly in roles such as Epic Owner or Business Owner, is a plus.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in medical devices, IT user-based development, or hearing solutions industries. Or alternatively experience withing consumer products understanding how to design solutions that create customer delight.
- A systematic approach to understanding market needs and a passion for developing user-friendly solutions for hearing care professionals and businesses.
