Operations Graduate // Demant Graduate Programme

Welcome to our Graduate Programme. We offer you a career in a leading Danish C25 company, that creates life-changing products for people around the world. We will guide you through a two-year journey here at our headquarters, just outside Copenhagen. You will start on 1 September 2024,
where you will join three different teams, working with different projects. This will provide you with a broad business understanding and strong network of people across all functions. You will be given a lot of responsibility from day one to develop your professional and personal skills in the best possible way. After this, you will be offered a permanent position.

As we are operating in more than 30 countries, many of our graduates get the chance to go abroad for half a year, depending on business needs. Besides that, you will join a fantastic network with all the other graduates and can look forward to some fun team days, training sessions and trips to our different business units.

Your journey as an Operations graduate
During your time in Global Operations, you will take on projects that involve stays outside of Denmark. Depending on the project, the duration of the stays can be anywhere from a few days to a whole rotation. Our activities In Global Operations range from New Product Introduction, planning, sourcing, to, manufacturing, distribution and aftersales. Our footprint spans across the globe - from Australia to Poland, Denmark, US, and Mexico just to mention a few key Operations geographies.

Opportunities are plentiful and so are the challenges. You will have the chance to join activities that can take you from working in the interface between R&D and Operations, to automation, manufacturing systems and infrastructure development and procurement of electronic components.

Irrespective of the tasks, one thing is certain: You will face a steep learning curve with a high degree of responsibility from day one. In our flat organization, you will train your analytical, strategic, and innovative skills, you will be exposed to a huge range of projects, you will be expected to take ownership for your decisions and to challenge status quo.
 

We would like to get to know you
To apply for our programme, you are just about to finish your studies with a relevant technical M.Sc., e.g., Production and Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar, or have graduated no more than 1-2 years ago. You are a top performer with excellent achievements in your studies, through your (student) work experience or extracurricular activities. You have furthermore gained international experience through a semester or internship abroad or similar. And last, you are fluent in English.

As a person, we believe that you like to collaborate with others and have a high drive and passion for what you do. You are both strategic and pragmatic and go for the ambitious goal. You have a curious mindset, are hardworking, and - most important - humble.

Recruitment process
10-14 January: Sending in a 2min video of yourself answering two specific questions
Wednesday, 24 January: All-day Assessment Center at our headquarters in Smørum close to Copenhagen
29 January – 2 February: Final interviews including prior online assessments on personal competencies and         logical skills
