BI Specialist

We are looking for a talented ETL developer to join our dynamic BI, Data & Analytics team.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding and implementation experience with Data warehouses, BI solutions and the ETL process both on SQL servers and on the Microsoft Azure platform.

Several years of hands-on experience is essential to develop, implement, optimize, and improve our BI solutions you will be developing and maintaining in close cooperation with our business partners. You should have senior level experience with the SQL language both developing Business Intelligence solutions on SQL servers and on the MS Azure platform. You will be working closely with our business partners and your BI, Data & Analytic colleagues so you should be a team player, have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

What tasks are waiting for you?

• Being part of an ambitious BI, Data & Analytics team.
• Work closely with BI, Data & Analytics colleagues and business partners to develop and optimize BI solutions – both existing and new solutions.
• Participate in migration projects from on-prem to the MS Azure platform.
• Develop and deliver Business projects with great business impact.
• The ETL work will both be on-premises and on the Common Data Platform (CDP) which is our Microsoft Azure platform.
• The Common Data Platform consists of Microsoft Azure components (Data Factory, Data Lake etc. ) and DataBricks.
• Do important changes to existing business deliveries.
• Understand business requirement and ability to transition business needs into Bi deliveries.

It would be great if you:

• have a minimum of 5 years’ experience developing BI solutions using the SQL language.
• have expert knowledge of data warehouse methodologies; have a university or business school degree – preferably at master level within IT or similar.     
• have proven experience with data warehouse development; ETL and data modelling; 
• have expert experience Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS); 
• have knowledge/experience with Multidimensional Model (MDX) and Tabular Model (DAX) is a plus;
• are structured and always meets your deadlines; are communicate in an open and constructive manner are supportive and service minded;
• enjoy challenges and are naturally curious, open minded and trustworthy.
