R&D Software is now looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Test Automation Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing a robust test automation framework tailored for desktop-based applications, ensuring comprehensive system testing with hardware integration. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and system architects to deliver high-quality solutions for hardware-software ecosystems.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and implement a scalable and efficient test automation framework optimized for desktop applications.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts covering V-model testing
• Identify test cases, requirements and automation opportunities.
• Conduct functional and non-functional automation campaigns including regression testing.
• Ensure seamless integration of automated testing with CI/CD pipelines to enhance development cycles.
• Analyze and document test results, providing clear defect reports and improvement recommendations.
• Keep up to date with the latest tools, frameworks, and methodologies in test automation and apply them to improve processes.
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and coordinate its resolution
• Collaborate closely with your team to ensure successful project delivery.
• Create and maintain test documentation.

Your Profile:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C#
• Experience with test automation tools and desktop-focused frameworks.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Familiarity with software development processes.
• A curious, technology-driven personality.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication.

Ideal candidate:

• Excels in teamwork and collaboration;
• Demonstrated experience in creating test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Expertise in testing applications with real-time hardware interaction.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and test-driven development (TDD).
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement in testing methodologies.
