Senior Project Manager - Operations
A key, highly independent role with real operational impact.
DGS Diagnostics is committed to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. To strengthen our Operations function, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who will lead complex, cross-site initiatives—including product and process transfers—while actively shaping and optimising our operational setup.
This is a critical, highly independent role that requires strong practical experience in operational and manufacturing environments. We are looking for someone who understands production beyond documentation, feels comfortable on the shop floor, and brings experience from related industries such as medical devices, automotive, electronics, R&D operations, or other regulated production environments. Due to the hands-on nature of the role, being on-site at least 3 days per week is essential.
Working with us, you will receive:
- A high-impact position with clear ownership and accountability for driving tangible business results.
- A global, multicultural environment that supports development and values initiative and independent thinking.
- Direct influence on operational decisions and long-term business performance.
- Daily exposure to complex operational challenges that foster continuous learning.
- A collaborative culture built on trust, engagement, and transparent problem-solving.
- Real proximity to production and operations—this is not a remote coordination role.
Your key responsibilities:
- Lead strategic projects across Diagnostics Operations, including product and process transfers, operational readiness, process excellence initiatives, and broader cross-site transformations.
- Take end-to-end ownership of project challenges, using hands-on approaches and on-site insights to identify root causes and drive solutions.
- Apply best-in-class project management practices, ensuring strong planning, governance, communication, and delivery of measurable outcomes.
- Use data-driven decision-making, including KPIs, timelines, cost, capacity, and risk analysis.
- Proactively identify risks, anticipate bottlenecks, propose contingencies, and escalate where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and international stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and success criteria.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams toward shared objectives.
- Present progress and recommendations to stakeholders and Steering Committees, including VP-level leadership.
It would be great if you have:
- Solid experience in project management with a proven track record of independent delivery and effective stakeholder management.
- Fluency in English, written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to structure and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Practical, hands-on understanding of operations and manufacturing processes.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset combined with strong collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Availability to work on-site at least 3 days per week.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in medical devices or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience working across multiple sites or cultures.
